ELIGIBILITY:

  • The most important thing prospective student-athletes need to do to be eligible to play at the NCAA level is to get certified by the NCAA  Eligibility Center.
  • If you plan to attend a NCAA Division I or Division II institution you must create a Certification Account to be eligible to make official visits to those institutions or sign a National Letter of Intent.
  • If you are undecided or plan to attend an NCAA Division III institution you must create a free profile on the NCAA Eligibility Center site and you will receive an NCAA ID and will be updated of key dates during your high school career.

ELIGIBILITY:

  • The most important thing prospective student-athletes need to do to be eligible to play at the NCAA level is to get Certified by the NCAA  Eligibility Center.
  •  There are three basic criteria to attend a NAIA Institution:
  • PlayNAIA is the NAIA Eligibility website:  play.mynaia.org 
  • The NAIA uses InCred (International Credential Evaluation) to evaluate international students’ academic credentials. All International students must sign-up with InCred, a service for international students that combines the review for both admission and athletic eligibility.:  

RECRUITING / SHOWCASES:

  • The NAIA has no recruiting calendar so coaches and prospective student-athletes can communicate at anytime.
  • Student-Athletes can tryout at an NAIA Institution for two days (do not have to be consective days). For more information Click Here.
  • Student-Athletes can participate in Showcase Events by visiting – NAIAShowcase.com.
  • There are 300 colleges and universities that compete at one of the three National Junior College Association (NJCAA) Divisions.
  • NJCAA athletes compete at their respective institutions for two years before transferring to a four-year institution.
  • NJCAA Division I colleges may offer full athletic scholarships which includes the maximum of tuition, fees, room and board, course related books, up to $250 in course required supplies, and transportation costs one time per academic year to and from the college by direct route.
  • NJCAA Division II colleges are limited to awarding tuition, frees, course related books, and up to $250 in course required supplies.
  • NJCAA Division III institutions may not provide athletically related financial assistance.

  • The following forms are important for all student-athletes wanting to compete at a Canadian College Athletic Association institution:
  • U Sports created U SPORTS Central to help student-athletes register to participate in sport at the collegiate level.
  • To play football at a U Sports institution, a prospective student-athlete must register with U SPORTS Central prior to making an official on-campus visit.
  • In all other sports, a prospective student-athlete must register with U SPORTS Central prior to becoming a confirmed recruit and signing a Letter of Intent, or before competing for a U SPORTS member institution.
